This was a fun read. I was surprised at how little protection from harm the story's lead character has. But that's what made it such a good story. You never know what's going to happen and can't easily predict anything. I'm looking forward to reading the next book.

Solid book, good read, very entertaining. Not sure what to think of the style, it's jumbled, vague and hard to follow at times, but overall the book is good and I'm eagerly awaiting the next.

I love it's unique style, written the way the main character, Nathan thinks. It's characters are realistic and well developed, and the plot is like nothing I've ever read before! One of my favorite books of all time.

Sally Green lives in northwest England. She has had various jobs and even a profession, but in 2010 she discovered a love of writing and now just can't stop. She used to keep chickens, makes decent jam, doesn't mind ironing, loves to walk in Wales even when it's raining, and will probably never jog again. She really ought to drink less coffee. Sally is the author of the Half Bad trilogy and the Smoke Thieves trilogy.
