About the author
Sam McBratney is the author of Holt's The Ghosts of Hungryhouse Lane and more than a dozen books for young readers. He has taught every level from preschool to graduate and lives in Northern Ireland.
Lisa Thiesing illustrated The Ghosts of Hungryhouse Lane as well as The Quest for Queenie by Brian Bell. She, her husband, and their daughter live in Hudson Valley in New York.
