About the author

Samantha Michaels is no stranger to a smoothie as she used to get smoothies from her mother all the time. Little did she know at the time that this was the method that her mother used to get her and her siblings to "eat" their vegetables! Her mother revealed this trick to her when she gave birth to her first child and was having difficulty getting him to eat his vegetables. She thought this idea was fantastic and wondered how many other mothers knew of this trick. She also enjoyed having smoothies as well as she was a working mother and always another go. It was a great way to get something nutritious into her system and keep her energized throughout the day. She shared the idea with a few of her other friends and one of them encouraged her to put a guide together to inform others of how they could use smoothies for their and their families benefit.
