From the first pages, I knew this was going to be as good if not better than the first. Be My Valentino is heart warming, thrilling, and comforting all at the same time. It's a page turner. This is the second in the trilogy but it escapes the normal dialogue about the second in a trilogy. You won't read this and say it was just a bridge between two books. I was blown away by just how well the original story was developed while also having independent storylines. (Honest review for an advanced copy.)

Jessie's story continues. Her pseudo-ex-husband comes back to wreak more havoc in her life, and she continues to grow into a self-sufficient woman who is stronger than she realizes. I was completely engaged in this story and I was disappointed when it ended because I wanted to keep reading. I am really looking forward to the next book in this series. I was given a PDF copy of this book by the author in exchange for my honest opinion.

Sandra D. Bricker was an entertainment publicist in Los Angeles for more than 15 years, where she attended school to learn screenwriting and eventually taught the craft for several semesters. She became a best-selling, award-winning author of Live-Out-Loud Fiction for the inspirational market, authored books such as the Jessie Stanton novels, and was best known for her Emma Rae Creation series. Over the years, as an ovarian cancer survivor, she spent time and effort toward raising awareness and funds for research, diagnostics, and a cure.
