राजकमल विद्यार्थी अंग्रेजी–हिन्दी कोश को विद्यार्थियों, छात्रों तथा दैनिक जीवन में अंग्रेजी शब्दावली की आवश्यकता महसूस करनेवाले पाठकों के लिए विशेष रूप से तैयार किया गया है । शब्दों का चयन करते समय इस बात पर खास ध्यान दिया गया है कि इसमें उन तमाम शब्दों को समाहित कर लिया जाए जिनका व्यवहार स्कूलों–विद्यालयों की पाठ्य–पुस्तकों तथा रोजमर्रा जीवन में आमतौर पर तथा बहुतायत से होता है ताकि कोश का कलेवर संक्षिप्त व सुविधाजनक रहे तथा इसकी उपयोगिता भी कम न हो । अंग्रेजी भाषा आज जिस प्रकार हमारे सामाजिक, आर्थिक व मीडिया जगत का अभिन्न हिस्सा हो गई है, उससे यह अनिवार्य हो चला है कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अंग्रेजी शब्दावली से परिचित हो । हमें आशा है कि इस आवश्यकता के मद्देनजर यह कोश उपयोगी सिद्ध होगा । विद्वान कोशकारों ने अंग्रेजी शब्दों के हिन्दी में प्रचलित सरल तथा विवि/ा अर्थों को समाहित किया है तथा अलग–अलग स्थितियों व सन्दर्भों में उनका प्रयोग भी प्रस्तुत किया है ।
