जीवन में संस्कार से बढ़कर कोई धन नहीं है । धर्म व सत्संस्कारों से ही मानव ‘मानव’ बनता है । बालक तो गीली मिट्टी जैसे होते हैं, उन्हें जैसा बनाना चाहें बना सकते हैं । सत्संग तारता है और कुसंग डुबोता है इसलिए सदैव सत्संग की पुस्तकें, गीता, भागवत, रामायण आदि ग्रंथ पढ़ने चाहिए । बालकों के हृदय एवं मस्तिष्क में आरम्भ से विद्याध्ययन तथा बड़ों के प्रति शिष्टाचार, सदाचार, धर्म एवं ईश्वर की महत्ता के संस्कार भरने आवश्यक हैं । इससे उनके जीवन में दैवी गुणों का उदय होगा और उन्हें जीवन को महान बनाने की दिशा में चलने की प्रेरणा मिलेगी । मधुर भाषण, बड़ों का आदर, आज्ञापालन, परोपकार, सत्यभाषण एवं सदाचार आदि दैवी सम्पदावाले सद्गुण बच्चों में विकसित हों, लौकिक विद्या के साथ-साथ उनको चरित्र-निर्माण तथा आदर्श मानव बनने के संस्कार मिलें - इस हेतु को ध्यान में रखकर ‘संस्कार सरिता’ पुस्तक का निर्माण किया गया ह इसमें है :

Samskār Saritā
No wealth is greater than the virtues in life. Man becomes a human being by the virtue of righteousness and values. A child is like wet clay; it can be moulded into whatever form one desires. Good company (Satsang) helps people cross the ocean of metempsychosis whilst bad company drowns them in the ocean of birth and death. Therefore one should always read spiritual books, Gitā, Bhāgavata, and Rāmāyaņa, etc. It is essential to instill the samskāras of study and respect for elders, good conduct, and the importance of righteousness and of Almighty Ishwara in the tender hearts and brains of young children. This will result in the development of divine qualities in their lives and will inspire them to move forward in the direction of leading a great and vibrant life. This book aims to develop divine qualities like speaking sweetly, respect for elders, obedience, benevolence, truthfulness and virtuous conduct; while focusing on traits like character-building along with attaining secular education.
