Sara Kadefors, geboren 1965 in Göteborg, ist Journalistin und Schriftstellerin. Ihr Jugendbuch Sandor Slash Ida wurde mit dem August-Preis ausgezeichnet und ist bis heute das meistverkaufte Jugendbuch Schwedens. Seither hat die Autorin mehrere Romane für Erwachsene und Jugendliche verfasst. Sie lebt mit ihrem Mann und ihren zwei Kindern in Stockholm.
