The 48-Hour Hookup by Sarah Ballance....Another great book from this amazing author. This story is so sweet, fun and very enjoyable, you can not put it down. Can you say new book boyfriend, nobody writes a book boyfriend like Sarah, so if you are looking, here is Liam. Liam and Claire both have pasts that they need to work through, but their chemistry is off the charts. Sarah Ballance is one of my top five authors and I know she will be yours as well if you read this book. I was given a complimentary book by publisher via NetGalley for an honest review.

She was hiding he was working. Both left a past they really wanted to forget. Stuck in a storm and what a way to go. They fight their attraction for all the right reasons until they could fight it no longer. Funny, and sexy for all the right reasons. This author shows she has a witty and fun side with this book. Fun insta-love standalone read.

This story is so cute and it had me laughing out loud at times especially when Stanley comes to visit. It also had some really tender moments between Liam and Claire. These two had both been through a lot because of social media it was perfect that had each other to help them get past it. As with the other books in this series, this one is fun, light, and entertaining. Not a lot of angst or drama. Perfect afternoon read. I highly recommend it.

About the author

Sarah and her husband of what he calls "many long, long years" live on the mid-Atlantic coast with their six young children, all of whom are perfectly adorable when they're asleep. She never dreamed of becoming an author, but as a homeschooling mom, she often jokes she writes fiction because if she wants anyone to listen to her, she has to make them up. (As it turns out, her characters aren't much better than the kids). When not buried under piles of laundry, she may be found adrift in the Atlantic (preferably on a boat) or seeking that ever-elusive perfect writing spot where not even the kids can find her.
