About this ebook

Is the glass half empty or half full?

Sometimes life influences our view, and alters our perception. Life changing events, up to 1997, almost destroyed me. At my lowest point, I met Nigel. He helped me to discover how a positive attitude can change everything. This new positive approach helps me to perceive my glass as half full, together we live life to the full. With good times ahead of us as a family, we made the biggest and most difficult decision of our lives; part of our family would immigrate to Australia.

We lived the Australian dream; embracing the adventure until adversity came to test us. A sequence of life changing events including, a close family bereavement, PTSD following a road rage car accident and the shock of losing our home during the Brisbane floods tested us on many levels. Follow our journey into happy, sad and challenging times. What does it takes to survive, when the odds are stacked against you. Do you fight back, and if so at what cost physically and emotionally? Could we maintain our positivity and family values against the odds? A true story.

Such an in depth story, it felt like I was travelling with Sarah along her amazing journey. Such an emotional roller-coaster. Very well written. Well done.

I listened to the whole book and I lived through the protagonist's life the whole book! Wow is just something of an understatement. It's an inspiration!

Wonderful! Had already read Two Suitcases... so HAD to immediately purchase Glass... . Having "lost" both my daughters due to unjust justice, I Soooo could feel the pain of especially Sarah, but Nigel also of just not being able to "be there". So many other similarities I often felt like I was reading parts of my own story. The tears, the giggles, quiet times, hard times, easy, happy, etc. Can only wait for more.... please, Sarah? Ps..... I never lost my love for my two girls and vice versa. All is well
