But for one flaw in the plot which bugged me. It seemed like the author forgot what she wrote previously to give the storyline more drama. It was a minor flaw but quite distracting in continuing to read the rest of the story.

Imagine a whole town of people with GIFTS. Everyone has an ability to be "different" and here in town the gifted can live and experience their gift with understanding. Akira, a physicist, is offered a job in such a small town. Why? Because she can see and converse with ghosts. Ms. Wynd tells a driving story. I could not put it down. All character interaction, alive or ghostly, were well developed. I want to read more and more.

And it was amazing. I will definitely be looking into the rest of the series. So glad and relieved that this wasn't a bust. I'm usually a bit picky with books and weary when I've picked one. But interestingly enough, I was really excited to read this book when I found it. And I was delighted and happy to find that I enjoyed it very much. *****bonus points because the author was a fellow fan fiction writer. 😁
