Lori ran a clinic and her father had just died. She suspected that he had been murdered. Gunner had been called in as security. This was oh so dramatic and intense right up to the very end. The author knew how to keep us in suspense. Well written with fantastic characters that just draw you into the story, and situations that had me on the edge of my seat, so to speak. Very well done! This is the sixth book in the Stealth Security series. It can be enjoyed as a standalone so no worries if you haven't read the other books. You'll come across some of the guys from previous books. Gunner and Lori's story is fast paced and steamy. Lori meets Gunner after breaking things off with her fiancée after her fathers death. She doesn't believe she should be in the market for a serious relationship but something about Gunner is different. Lori believes there is something off about her fathers death. Gunner wants to keep Lori safe and give her the space he thinks she needs. Can they get to the bottom of who is causing all the problems for Lori?
