About this ebook

From the queen of heart-pounding, sexy, emotional romance Scarlett Cole comes Jordan Reclaimed, the first novel in the Preload series.

He's a rockstar, she's a ballerina, they're worlds apart yet just what the other needs.

Jordan Steele’s life began when he was ten. When he was taken from his parents and a house that was never a home. When he met his brothers, the other lost and abandoned boys in his group home. When he learned what friendship and family and love looked like.

Now he’s made a career out of playing the music he loves, touring the world with the band he and his brothers formed in that crowded group home. No one but his found family really knows the man under the fame and fortune, the scars he hides behind the rockstar lifestyle. Until he sees her through the windows of the National Ballet, dancing, and suddenly the world doesn’t seem so dark.

Aleksandra Artemov ticks all the ballet boxes. Father a legendary Kirov dancer. Check. Prepping since birth for classical ballet. Check. Compulsive control over the food she eats. Check. Principal dancer at The National Ballet of Canada. Check. But what she craves is freedom.

She craves Jordan.

Everything about him should terrify her. His size, his tattoos, his hard rock edge. But he doesn’t. He stirs her very soul. Jordan has nothing but himself to offer her, and he's never been good enough for anyone. Can he figure out how to face his own demons before he loses his light for good?

I really like this book and the characters. I loved Jordan and how through all the pain and abuse he suffered as a child he survived and got a happy ending I also like Lexi character that she was patient with Jordan and his issues and she didn't push him to hard or to fast sometimes the female characters in romance books can be annoying and self absorbed with their issues but I'm glad this wasn't the case with this book

A new series from Scarlett Cole? YES PLEASE!! As a spin-off of her Second Circle series, we met these characters in The Purest Hook and I'm so excited to get their stories as well as catch up on the lives of Dred, Pixie & Petal. All these characters are so deep and complex I can't wait to get to know each of them. First up is Jordan. He's troubled and dark and so very lovable. When he meets Aleksandra Artemov he knows she touches something deep inside of him. The emotional journey these two go on is beautiful and unforgettable. This one needs to be on the must read list! I highly recommend it.

I've been craving a series for Preload after reading The Purest Hook. I'm so excited it's finally here. It starts with Jordan. Jordan didn't have the greatest childhood, but meeting his brothers and band mates changed his life. Then he sees ballet dancer Lexi. That moment will be the beginning of his future. Scarlett Cole weaves such an emotional depth with these characters that it just grips me. I could hardly put this book down. I just adored the scenes with Jordan and Petal. Such sweet moments. Both Jordan and Lexi have a few inner issues to work through, but when they're together as a reader you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just loved the epilogue. I can't wait for more from this series.
