If you love a grumpy guy with a soft marshmallow centre this is definitely the book for you. Nevin is a really interesting character with a lot of depth to his feelings. He’s had a rough few years in prison and getting out isn’t any easier. Luckily for him Luna is waiting to show him the ropes. Luna’s another wild Gallo women, she’s tough as nails and lots of fun to be around. She’s takes no nonsense from anyone around her, fiercely independent and always up for a wild time.

Oh, how I have waited for Luna! Despite being a stand alone book, from previous books in the series you knew she was going to be explosive and she didn’t disappoint. She is so strong yet reckless and fun. Naturally being a Gallo girl she is all about family and that unbreakable loyalty. Nevin is a perfect balance for Luna as a equally devoted family man but with a raw sweetness under his grumpy exterior, and he is such a cute drunk. Launching the book with Ian’s story shattered my heart.

Love the story & the characters! SCORCH is so good! Love the way the story unfolded. Luna is so reckless and Nevin is so resentful and they both are so guarded with their heart. It's a sweet intriguing story how they fall for one another. I love the honesty, vulnerability and the intimacy that these characters brought forth. I couldn't put this book down. As soon as I start reading Scorch it's like I was back where I belong.. at home with family ❤️ I love the Gallos
