Om den här e-boken

An alternative guide to our bonnie wee country and its inhabitants, this book is a compendium of the less generous comments made by 17th, 18th and 19th century visitors. Hopefully much has changed – and mostly for the better!

Om författaren

Born in the Lowlands over 60 years ago, since leaving school, Charlie Maciejewski has been a fish filleter, junior newspaper reporter, military policeman, and Scottish policeman; retiring from the police he worked in the Middle East, and has worked as a white van man for a well known charity. In his retirement he is making use of his time with his wife to visit much of Scotland, with many more places to visit. He is a keen walker and photographer. He is currently resident in the Highlands where he has lived for over fifty years. He has had two short stories (horror) published in anthologies.]]
