About this eBook

The undying classic by the New York Times–bestselling author: “Smart, sexy, and laugh-out-loud funny.” —Christine Feehan

Romance novelist Christian Dante is sexy and arrogant, a true alpha male. He’s also a Dark One—aka vampire—doomed to spend eternity cruising the singles scene in search of the one woman who can redeem his soul. It’s not easy finding love when you’re nine hundred years old . . . and undead. But finally he’s discovered the woman that Fate has chosen for him. Too bad she sees dead people and likes to play with demons.

Allie Telford is a Summoner—and she needs to rustle up a ghost quick or her paranormal career will be over. Luckily, she’s just stumbled upon a naked and unquestionably hot specter in a haunted hotel . . . who looks disturbingly like the tall, dark, handsome fantasy man who’s been coming to Allie in her dreams. But no phantom—he’s a real flesh-and-blood-fed immortal who’s determined to make Allie his lover for forever . . . or longer.

Which may not be a totally bad thing . . .

“The always entertaining MacAlister continues her delectable contemporary paranormal series with another sinfully sexy, fabulously fun tale of love, vampires, ghosts, and demons.” —Booklist

“Truly hilarious . . . a genuine delight.” —Romantic Times

I like the story. I read quite a bit and allot of supernatural books. Though i really loved the humor, related to & adored the characters, and at times couldn't put my phone away...i found some of the dialogue wonton. Allot of grammatical errors, and forced assumption with-in conversions. The book was good but i felt like i was reading a close, slightly altered version of a preexisting 21+ book series about another necromancer who is also having a love affair w a powerful vampire. Decide for yourself.

It was a great read. I'm not really a reader but after the fifty shades triology this was a nice pace. Kept my interests!

The hero is this book is just dreamy. The heroine is a little over the top for my tastes.

MacAlister resolved to switch to fiction, where she could indulge in world building, tormenting characters, and falling madly in love with all her heroes. More than thirty books later, her novels have been translated into numerous languages, recorded as audiobooks, received several awards, and landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly bestseller lists. She also writes for the young adult audience as Katie Maxwell.
