I feel like so many Garwood fans were asking for historical romance (vs her modern FBI books) that she just threw this one together in a jiffy. Not a favorite.

I liked it, it is the last in a series that started with The Secret and then Ransom. I loved both those books they are the 2 best highlander romances ever written. The problem with Shadow Music is that there was no update on the Ransom story between Ramsey Sinclair and Brighid KirkConnell.

Garwood Scottish books are great, when I'm down I read one and they entertain me right back up..Thank you Julie , the humor makes me laugh..The Bride, and the Wedding got me hooked..
