Scott Barker was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. A high school teacher with
Bachelor degrees in French Literature and Education, Scott also holds a Masters
degree in Education, and is a former captain in the Canadian Forces. Aside from
his duties as a full-time teacher, department head, and father of two, Scott has
always found time for creative writing. Shadows Over Sheradan is his first
novel, which takes place in a fantasy world that he has been developing for over
twenty-five years. The author lives with his wife and children near Ottawa,
Ontario, Canada.
