Small Town Secrets is a look at young love through the eyes of the people who lived through the heartbreak. Taking a trip down memory lane is never an easy thing to do. However, recollecting the events from the past allows Nate and Pansy to examine their mistakes and forgive each other. Roxanne Snopek's well thought out story of love is touching and a wonderful start to the Secrets of Cherry Lake series.

Pansy finds Nate to be a good kid. Nathan’s sweet personality draws him to her. Nathan feels Pansy is dangerous but that is what he finds alluring. While he loves Mary, it isn’t the same kind of love that he has for Pansy. Unfortunately circumstances find Nathan at a crossroad. He wants to marry Pansy but his father wants him to stick with Mary. After all, it is for the good of the family orchard. Will Nathan choose Pansy, the woman he truly loves or will he stick with family and spend his life with Mary? I enjoyed the first installment of the Secrets of Cherry Lake. However when I arrived at the final page, I was a bit shocked to see the story just end. Hoping for more from Pansy and Nathan in the next books.

This short romantic story certainly had a wonderful ending. A good read!
