Her grandmother insists that Maddie must marry if she wants to keep her job in the family company. So Maddie gets fake engaged to Jack, the one man her Gran will never approve of. In return for Jack’s cooperation, she agrees to prove he’s innocent of destroying her brother’s company. Will the search for secrets lead to love? This is a satisfying romance with a nice mystery subplot. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received.
