About this ebook

Maleeka suffers every day from the taunts of the other kids in her class. If they're not getting at her about her homemade clothes or her good grades, it's about her dark, black skin.
When a new teacher, whose face is blotched with a startling white patch, starts at their school, Maleeka can see there is bound to be trouble for her too. But the new teacher's attitude surprises Maleeka. Miss Saunders loves the skin she's in. Can Maleeka learn to do the same?

This book was very interesting, when I picked it up I got sucked into it, I couldn't stop reading. To me the book was more about bulling than racism. The only thing that could of made the book better was if the ending was a little more extended and detailed. The book really gave me a feel of what it would be like to be in her skin.

Are you serious $7.69 for a book that I can get for free online or even at my school. It went down 30 cents from its original price. It probably going to be boring anyway the only reason why I looked on play books is because I have to read chapters 1-10 for school and I was to lazy during the week to go to the school library and go get it.
