I cannot call it a book - only around 30 pages. Its like an essay written by student. No references to old philosopher only basic knowledge. You can learn more by reading what is stoicism on Wikipedia for free

As an avid audiobook listener, I’m always on the lookout for audiobook reviews. They’re surprisingly hard to find—most traditional review websites and publications simply review the book itself. But as all audiophiles know, when you’re listening to a book, the narrator is all-important. A bad narrator can ruin even the best book. A good one can turn an ordinary book into something miraculous. Good audiobook reviews center the narration, giving listeners a sense of the narrator’s performance. Rather than focusing on plot, character, theme, and prose, audiobook reviews take note of how well narrators perform accents, whether their tone matches the tone of the book, and what the narration adds to the overall experience of listening to the book. AudioFile is the only free, easily searchable website I’ve been able to find that provides useful, performance-centered reviews of audiobooks. Reviews are short and succinct, and while they do provide quick plot summaries and an overall analysis of the book, the narration is always front and center. You’ll find thousands of reviews for audiobooks of all genres. Reviews of new books usually come out shortly after publication. AudioFile also has a print magazine (6 issues for $19.95), a free newsletter that provides audiobook recommendations, a blog focused on audiobooks, and an audiobooks podcast.

Stoicism is an excellent and very useful book. Very enlightening and informative reading. I could totally relate to it. Highly recommended.I found this book most interesting. It was informative, historic and also showed how one can practice it in this day and age which I was most interested in learning.Quick introduction to stoicism to wet ones appetite. Worth some of your time. It's short and to the point and I like it with my only complaint is that it should have went into more detail and to do this this it would have had to be longer.Simplified and straight forward explanation of what it is and how it works without being dry or boring just matter of fact.Made me very curious. This is a good quick listen to the beginning fundamentals of stoicism. The author does a good job of conveying the concepts and relating it to things we go through daily.Ok, that was challenging. Content is kinda interesting, but the delivery and writing is terrible. The narrator sounds like he just finished some profane actors courses, and like he recorded all of this in a hurry, without a break. Intonations are weird, the dictionary name was mentioned five times or so, describing unnecessary meanings which were redefined by the author afterwards. All ideas could have beed described with a sentence or two, but instead was delivered and chewed like children are the target audience. I loved a lot....
