A fantastic read with small town zaniness at it's best. Lilyanne Bronte has been coasting through life rather than really living since her fiancee was killed in Iraq. Everyone in her small town of Blessings has been letting her do it too. Even her very best friend Mike Dalton. One day motorcycle riding bad boy TJ Lachlan comes roaring in to town and makes Lilyanne wake up and take notice. Mike Dalton has loved Lilyanne his whole life. He's sat back and watched her young romance and recently her mourning for her fiance without ever letting her know how he feels. Not wanting to jeopardize their friendship. After seeing her looking at the new guy in town he knows it's now or never. He needs to be brave enough to go after what he wants. This is a wonderfully written story and the crazy characters at the Curl Up and Dye are hilarious. Just a note this was previously released with the title Curl Up and Dye and is now being rereleased. If you love sweet romance with lots of small town southern charm thrown in, you don't want it miss this one. I highly recommend it

Ms. Sala's Blessings, Georgia series is off to a good start for me. Was a little scared to give it a try because I have been less than impressed with this author in the past. She made up for all my doubt with this close knit community of matchmakers. I received an ARC of You and Only You in exchange for an honest review. For Mike, LilyAnn is the girl he let slip through his fingers. His one regret. For LilyAnn, her heart is healing from a devastating loss and she is trying to move on. There were a number of things done right with this story. (1.) The characters were endearing whether young, old, or animal it was hard not to love them all. (2.) Ms. Sala kept it simple.-For me that is what I found to be so moving, it was easy to relate to. (3.) The start of a new series.- Which means I get to revisit these characters. A surprising treasure trove of romance, sincerity and family.

My mother was from the south and this book took me back. Such humor, despair, love and hate. Made me laugh out loud.
