Don't miss this SEXY, EMOTIONAL, SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE!

The only price she won’t pay is her heart.

Quincy Radcliffe has fast become a key asset at the newly formed Stark Security. A former British agent with lethal skills and criminal connections, it’s a no-brainer for him to rise through the ranks.

But Quincy isn’t the man he appears to be. And one woman could expose all his secrets.

Once, he worshipped Eliza Tucker. He adored her body and then broke her heart. But now she needs help, and he’s the only man that can do it. Quincy knows he must either turn his back on her or risk revealing his dark past to the one woman who can—and will—tear open his old wounds.

For years, Eliza has tried to forget the man who shattered her. His smoldering good looks had drawn her in; his British charm had enchanted her. But it was the wildness of his seduction and the ferocity of his passion that captured her. She’d given herself to him—and he’d destroyed her.

Now, he’s the only person who can help find her missing sister.

She’ll use him because she has to. She’ll pay anything he demands, whether in the bank or the bedroom.

She won’t fall for him again. But what if it isn’t her choice to make?

Charismatic. Dangerous. Sexy as hell.

Meet the elite team at Stark Security.

Spellbinding Second Chance Hot Romance The main characters are well developed, charismatic on page, and uniquely interesting to experience. The first book in the new series is a hit! Pulls you in and doesn't let you stop until you have finished the story and leaves you panting for more. J. Kenner has created another great creative experience for her readers! I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for a voluntary, completely honest, and non-incentivized review.

This the first book in a new series and it has started off with a bang. I was sucked right into this one. It's one that had me on the edge of my seat a little bit. These two characters have some much emotion and it draws in right of the reader. My heart couldn't help but bleed for these two. Their back stories just ripped my heart out, but seeing these two lost battered souls together is so beautiful. They bring a healing touch to each other though it's not going to be smooth sailing because in order to accept fate's second chance they need to be able to find forgiveness. This book has it all and the teaser at the end of this one for the next book has me eagerly awaiting it!

Second chance love story with a little bit of action and suspense and some steam. Both Eliza and Quincy are looking for missing people when their paths cross and end up joining forces in a race against the bad guys. There are a few flash backs to show character development on how they met an fell in love. The flashbacks in reference to how they met all came from Eliza's POV, I would have liked to had Quincy's POV on this. Quincy first appeared in the SIN trilogy as part of Deliverance and he popped up again in very recent Stark Saga novels (and maybe a novella). The author continues the use her popular theme of characters who come from dark places, who use that darkness from within to build walls to protect their hearts. Once Quincy reconnects with Eliza, I love how she pushes to find out what happen, and an apology just want cut it. At times Quincy appears to be a little melodramatic about this darkness, but when it final reveals it self, he's not being melodramatic at all. I liked Eliza's character, but there were a couple places in the second half she came off as smug, when that attitude really wasn't appropriate. Also, has Eliza been wearing pretty much the same clothes the whole time? She goes from a dress, to a tank top and track pants because her dress is ruined, to the track pants and one of Quincy's shirts because she's staying with him, but no where else is it mentioned of getting her clothes from her place. For whatever reason this really bothered me.
