Crossing the Line

A widower who’s still mourning the loss of his wife, Paul Daniels isn’t looking for love. He’s a single dad, and he’s content to raise his little girl on his own. What he didn’t expect was the change that would occur when Megan moved in to help him take care of his daughter. Thirteen years his junior, she’s full of life. She’s brought joy back into his home and has him craving things he thought had died long ago. Can he open himself up and find love again, or will the past continue to haunt him?

Seducing Janey

Kyle Reed left the Army to take care of his younger sister after the death of their parents. He gave up his carefree life as a bachelor and settled into a new career as a sheriff’s deputy in their small town of Liberty, Indiana. When his boss asks him to show a city detective around, he wasn’t expecting a blonde bombshell. He knew the moment he saw Janey there would be more to their story than solving a murder.

These two sexy Law Enforcement romances will have you wanting to curl up with these Boys in Blue.

Crossing the Line Paul is a loving father, driven police detective and grieving widower. Megan has become an invaluable part of his household caring for his young daughter Chloe. He struggles with guilt and intense emotions regarding his wife's death. Megan has had some bumps and rough times in her life, but is happier and more secure than she could have hoped. I enjoyed the characters of Paul, Megan, Chloe and Janey (his police partner) who had personality and chemistry. Hands down Megan made this story come alive. She knew what she wanted and went after it, coaxing Paul into finding love again. When danger strikes close to home, Paul will pull out all the stops. Seducing Janey Janey has forged a career in law enforcement, using intelligence and determination. Her life in the big city is just what she sought after leaving her small hometown. When her case bears similarities to another, Janey finds herself working with small town Liberty, Indiana deputy Kyle. He is loving and protective of his sister and young nephew. The attraction between the pair in visceral, and mutual. While working together, Kyle challenges Janey's beliefs of what could be. I enjoyed both books featuring relatable, likable everyday heroes and heroines.

Oh my goodness there is so much I love about this book it’s amazing!!! I also a little confused at the beginning but I think that’s because I haven’t read the Daniels brothers books before. And this book starts with number 3 of that series which in my opinion is 💯 stars this book as a whole is 💯 stars!! It’s for sure a keeper and I already know I’ll be reading again a lot. One of the reasons I love it it’s a romance stories and crime stories at the same time!!! I can’t handle crime shows they to much for me sadly. I do love them though so I love reading books that have them in them that aren’t to dark for me. Sherri Hayes did a great job at both in my opinion I already was a big fan of hers reading boys in blue makes me love her work even more if that’s even possible lol! I love everything about this book I couldn’t put it down from the characters to the stories I was at the end of my seat wanting to know what happens now. I’m for sure going to buy the rest of the Daniels brothers series too. If you love romance and crime all in one book this is a wonderful book for you too!! :) I know I was driving everybody around me crazy cause I couldn’t stop talking about this book as I was reading it especially my mom lol she’ll probably want to read it too now. Sherri Hayes does a amazing job with all her books that I have read so far and this one for sure wasn’t a disappointment it’s so so great 😃

Boys in Blue: Everyday Hero’s includes two books: Crossing The Line (A Daniels Brother Romance) and Seducing Janey (A Liberty Crossroad Romance). Homicide Detectives Paul Daniels and Janey Davies are partners in the Indianapolis Police Department. Sherri explores their individual stories as well as their partnership in both series. Police investigations are challenging and the reader is artfully involved in each quest for justice. Sherri brings to light the internal romantic struggle each detective encounters while searching for a murderer. Both are extremely fascinating stories filled with intrigue, danger and romance. "I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.”

About the author

Sherri picked up her first romance novel when she was twelve and immediately she was hooked. She would stay up reading long after everyone else in her house had gone to bed, needing to see the hero and heroine get their happily ever after. But Sherri never imagined becoming an author.

At the age of thirty, all that changed. After getting frustrated with the direction a television show was taking two of its characters, Sherri decided to try her hand at writing an alternative ending to give the characters the happy ending they deserved.

Since then, writing has become a creative outlet that allows her to explore a wide range of emotions, while having fun taking her characters through all the twists and turns she can create.
