The advice in this book ranges from cliche and surface-level ("toxic people sell you a dream to give you a nightmare") to outright harmful ("when at a loss of what to do, do nothing"). It feels like the author got their understanding of therapy mainly from reading inspirational quotes on social media. The author has some encouraging and validating words, for sure, but unfortunately this book lacks any real substance in terms of psychological insight.
