SHIRLEY TALLMAN, the author of the Sarah Woolson mysteries (Murder on Nob Hill, The Russian Hill Murders, etc.), moved to San Francisco at an early age. She and her husband, Bob, live in Eugene, Oregon, where she works as a novelist and screenwriter.
