Christian-Eric Falardeau (a.k.a. Eric Falardeau) was born a few decades ago on a dairy farm is the Rouyn-Noranda area (northwest of Québec). Early on, after begging his parents for a few months, started to write little stories on a new electric typewriter.
After graduating in computer science from Sherbrooke University in 1990, he came back to writing and on October 17, 1991, inspiration, and massive amount of diet coke, lead to a 17-hour writing binge that gave birth to The Maid’s Dress (included in the collection Short Novels and Stories).
