After graduating with her masteruws of education in counseling from the University of North Texas, she began practice as a licensed professional counselor. While maintaining an active practice counseling couples and families, she received a PhD in counseling from the University of North Texas. She is currently the clinical director of the Family Counseling Center Association, a nonprofit entity in Fort Worth, TX.
