The story itself is entertaining and hilarious, from the “part pit bull” chihuahua to the scene at the diner where every available man for a ten-mile radius was hitting on Chrissy. The fact that Jack was the one who came to her rescue after every stunt — and the clumsy adventures she managed just made it perfect. If you’re a fan of intense chemistry, men in uniform, alpha males and strong feminine leads, and laughing your way through a great romance, this book was made for you.

I loved, loved this book. It starts off with Chrissy, the heroine, having a run in with a cop (Jack) who stopped her for speeding. From the minute this encounter begins it is very humorous and sexy. I know how can it be both? After Chrissy hits him, you know where, they realize they know each other. Chrissy is mortified but Jack can't believe how much his best friend's sister has changed. For the better. That is the start of the sexy part. Chrissy is in town to bail her brother out of jail. Jack and Chrissy are evenly matched in temperament. They played well off each other and you really wanted them to have a very happy ending. The only negative I have with this book is the constant reference made about Chrissy being a doctor and because she is a doctor she knows what to do. I think there was one time where I read it 3 times over 2-3 pages. It got annoying after a while. I think as readers we are smart enough to get it after a few references that she is a Doctor. It does not have to be said over and over and over.....I even with that little annoyance I would definitely read more books by this author.

this book is awesome althoygh i did not get to read everything because i did not buy the whole versuon but the few i read is very cool. i will make sure i read everything before this year ends
