An emotional and heartfelt romance. This is an emotional workplace romance between a Former Special Forces soldier, Ryder, who has come to Marietta to fulfill his fallen leader’s wishes and a physical therapist, Edi, who is new at her new job where her aging grandmother lives at May Bell Center. I enjoyed seeing Ryder and Edi evolve from their prickly first encounter to discovering friendship and then love. Being complete opposites made the story fun to read.

This novel is part of The Coyote Cowboys of Montana series and all of the books are fabulous. This story is one of immediate attraction and chemistry that battles rotten upbringings and insecurities. There are so many troubles that exist to thwart happiness and jam up the road to love. The love formed is one to savor. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
