About this eBook

The girl who loves Christmas falls for the Grinch—it’s a Christmas miracle.

What started as a dumpster fire of a blind date turns into a deal.

In truth, it probably didn’t help that I showed up dressed like an elf but that’s a story for another time. Our start was rocky at best which is why it’s so frustrating that I can’t stop thinking about his sexy British accent. Or the way his chest and arms fill out his suit. Or his perfect hair with that single streak of grey at the front.

Santa likes lists and so do I, so here’s all the reasons why Andrew and I aren’t right for each other:

He’s my brother’s best friend

He’s the biggest grump I’ve ever met.

He hates Christmas.

That last one is big for a girl like me who thinks that the entire month of December should be a national holiday. So, when he calls for my help in planning his firm’s holiday party, I can’t pass up the opportunity to grow my small business. Bonus, we make a deal, and he agrees to attend three holiday events with me so I can make him fall in love with Christmas. As if I’d pass up an opportunity to make a Grinch’s heart grow three times its size.

It isn’t long until I discover Andrew has a very real reason to hate Christmas and I start to see him in a different light. That’s when the Christmas miracle begins.

4.5 Stars This book had me first at the writing duo Piper Rayne because I devour everything they write. Then through in a holiday romance, but just not any one a Christmas crazy heroine and a grinchy hero. Andrew and Kenzie had me gobbling up the pages. I could hardly put this book down. I loved Kenzie. I'm a Christmas nut like her so I could easily see me being friends with her. I loved watching Kenzie pull Andrew out of his comfort zone,

This was a read filled with merriment, but it also had some angst to it, courtesy of Kenzie's parents and Andrew's past with an ex. I did like how much he developed as a main character, slowly opening up those parts of himself that were quite closed off. I think it took someone like Kenzie to make him realize that risking your heart for someone who's worth it requires not just love but trust and respect as well. Single and Ready to Jingle was a sweet, funny, and touching read. 4.5 stars!

I've already read or listened to a fair number of Christmas romances this year, and we're not even to Thanksgiving yet. That said, I think I've found the top of the list in Single and Ready to Jingle. This book was an absolute joy from the very first line to the very last. Opposites attract is one of my favorite romance tropes, and when you add in that one side of that is a sexy grump, I'm all over it. The sexy British accent doesn't hurt, either!
