About this ebook

The Kama Sutra is the world's best-known manual on love-making and sexual fulfilment, but it is also more than that: it is a classic text on the value of aesthetic and sensual pleasure. While many of the social practices are now obsolete, the central theme of sex is as relevant today as it ever was and the observations about the behaviour of men and women are enduringly perceptive. This fully illustrated edition, presented with beautiful illustrations and page decoration throughout, contains an extended introduction to the ideas behind The Kama Sutra, and how it first came to be published in the West. Sections include: On Sexual Union, About the Acquisition of a Wife, About a Wife, About the Wives of Other Men, About Courtesans.

This book is not even remotely related to Original Kama Shastra written by Maharshi Vatsa. People who are unaware will believe this is the authentic Kama Sutra. Sir Richard F. Burton never knew or understood Sanskrit. This book is based on sex manual "The Ananga Ranga" written by Kalyan Malla for a Mughal ruler which depicts various sex positions. Original Kama Shastra was a profound method of centering oneself using love. Its a medium to raise the Kundalini. This concept has been misunderstood by petty minds. Its not some erotic perverted novel which people have been made to believe. Its an expression of genuine beauty. A way to make amazing love, to keep life harmonious and balanced. Its not about sex alone. Sex is one of the many parts mentioned in original Kama Shastra. You can read This Kama Sutra book for knowing various sexual positions but Don't misunderstood believing this is Original Kama Sutra.
