5 Star Review Siren Unleashed (Texas Sirens #7) by Sophie Oak Each book in this series gets better and better. This time it is twin detectives Ben and Chase Dawson who will find their happily ever after, that is as long as they can keep the woman in question Natalie Buchanan alive. I have been waiting for this book since the Dawson twins were first mentioned at The Club and were introduced into the series. I imagined that these two brothers when they could agree on something or someone, would be a powerful combination and one that would be hard to ignore and I was right. There were times when I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry and I worried that Ben, Chase and Natalie would not be able to get the happily ever after that they all so richly deserved. I really enjoy Ms.Oak (Lexi Blake’s) style of writing and Siren Unleashed was one of those reads I could not put down.

Of all of the Texas Sirens books by author Lexi Blake, this one might be my favorite, and the reason is simple: the Dawson brothers. Two sides of the same coin, two halves of a whole, however you want to say it, these two are the perfect foils for each other, and the perfect fit for Natalie Buchanan. Their ways might not be my ways, but, oh, my, are they all perfect together. Although this book is part of a re-release of one of Lexi's older series, it is new to me, and I am enjoying the heck out of it. I do have to admit that I get a little bit confused sometimes, what with the inter-mixing of the Bliss, CO, characters with the Texas Sirens characters, and then there are the folks from McKay-Taggart, but, really, they are all one happy family. The shenanigans are many, and Lexi does a fabulous job of marrying humor with intrigue and suspense, all along with a healthy dose of heat, making for some immensely readable books that I just can't put down. Because this book is a good ways into the series, it does help to have read the others in not only this, but the other two series that I mentioned above, but, heck, I say that, if you haven't read the others, jump on in. It will just inspire you to go back and get all caught up, because they are just so entertaining. SIREN UNLEASHED is an easy 4 stars for me, and I cannot wait to see what's coming next. Seriously, join the club (see what I did there?); while these books are not your average romances, you don't want to miss them. Prepare yourself for a bumpy ride, and enjoy!

SIREN UNLEASHED is the seventh instalment in Lexi Blake’s contemporary, adult TEXAS SIRENS erotic, BDSM , romance series focusing on the men and women of an upscale Dallas spa and resort known as The Club, which doubles as a BDSM club. This is twin detectives / Dominants Ben and Chase Dawson, and massage therapist / submissive Natalie Buchanan’s story line. SIREN UNLEASHED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story. Ben and Chase were first introduced in book six SIREN IN BLOOM. The Texas Sirens series is a spin-off from the author’s NIGHTS IN BLISS, COLORADO series. NOTE: SIREN UNLEASHED is the re-release of the 2012 book authored by Sophie Oak aka Lexi Blake with new content. There is also a slight cross-over with the characters from the author’s Masters and Mercenaries series. WARNING: SIREN UNLEASHED contains scenes of M/F/M ménage, and BDSM sexual situations that may not be suitable for all readers. There is also reference to sexual slavery, abduction, torture and rape. Told from several third person perspectives including Ben, Chase and Natalie SIREN UNLEASHED follows the Dom/sub relationship between twin detectives / Dominants Ben and Chase Dawson, and massage therapist / submissive Natalie Buchanan. The premise is sensitive and gripping; the romance is spicy and provocative; the characters are sassy and spirited but struggle with memories of the past. SIREN UNLEASHED is an intimate and edgy look at the recovery and acceptance; love and happily ever after. I will add that at the time of reviewing, I had not read the previous instalments therefore I felt that I was missing some important information regarding Natalie’s prior history.
