VIKAS SWARUP is the author of Slumdog Millionaire (previously published as Q & A), which was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best First Book (Eurasia), won the Boeke Prize (South Africa) and was made into a celebrated feature film that won eight Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay. He has been a member of the Indian Foreign Service for over thirty years and was recently appointed as High Commissioner of India to Canada.
