About this eBook

A fascinating new novella in Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere, the universe shared by his Mistborn series and the #1 New York Times bestselling Stormlight Archive.

Sixth of the Dusk, set in a never-before-seen world, showcases a society on the brink of technological change. On the deadly island of Patji, where birds grant people magical talents and predators can sense the thoughts of their prey, a solitary trapper discovers that the island is not the only thing out to kill him. When he begins to see his own corpse at every turn, does this spell danger for his entire culture?

I really enjoyed this story. It doesn't have the intricacies in the magic system of a normal Sanderson, but then again it's 40 pages long. But in those 40 pages he does a wonderful job of exploring the magic and getting a nice twist in there. The characters and theme meld well together and serve to strengthen the ending and make it satisfying. I do want more of this world and to read what's next.

I love Brandon Sanderson 's books, but I don't like being deceived on the page count. I liked the story but wanted the promised 90 pages

I loved this book, it's great (although I do wish it was a little bit longer) it tells an amazing story without the reader having to already know anything about the background of the Cosmere. Although there are some small things that tie in, for the most part it's a very cool story that has a different perspective than most of his books.
