I am in my 50's, but I love these books. I have read so many trilogies regarding different creatures of the ocean. I love being near the ocean, but because I have an incurable disease called Porphyria, I can't be in direct sunlight anymore. So, I read these books that take me to places I could never go to in real life! . I do vacation for Christmas in the winter at the coast. Carolina Beach, so beautiful at Christmas time. If you like fantasy and supernatural creatures of the ocean, you will enjoy the books

I'm sure there is a plot some where, buried in the muddled thoughts of a hormonal teen. But I am having a hard time unearthing it. Between the lead characters jumping into the spotlight and time spent describing every boy as handsome it's hard to see what they are trying to accomplish here.

It was a very good book, it kept on my toes making me not able to put it down. Loved it ❤️
