I didn't get why so many people talked about how much they love Blue in Skye Warren's Dark Room and even while reading the book I kept thinking that he's a jerk, where is the appeal, but by the end of the book I hopped on that bandwagon too!! I really liked this book a lot!! I really would have rather given it 4 1/2 stars, but since that's not possible I clicked on 4 but I give it a little bit more!! You will want to read this book and it will probably bring you through several different emotions, and ending with a HEA, which is my favorite kind of ending!! Who wants to be upset with a book that leaves you questioning why you invested your time and emotions to feel horrible when you finish?! Not me!! So I highly recommend this book.-My review for Better When it Hurts This book is even better, if that is possible, than the other books in this series!! It is packed with hot sex and a story I absolutely LOVE!!!We join Hannah and Blue in their ultimate bliss, sort of. That's all I'm going to say about the story because I want you to experience this wonderful story for yourself!! I recommend you read the whole Stripped series because the series is fantastic!! Hell I recommend ALL of Skye Warren's series because they are definitely worth the money and time you will spend on them!!! I am a huge fan of all of Skye's books, but the series are my favorites!! GO CLICK NOW!!-My review for Even Better

I can't give this enough stars! Better When it Hurts: Raw, gritty, painful and beautiful. I know those words usually don't go together, but that is the only way to describe it. This story is so intense I felt it to my marrow, it filled me with so many feelings. As always with all Skye Warren books, once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. This is the story of Lola (aka Hannah) and Blue, two people who share a painful past. They meet again while Lola is a stripper at a club called the Grand, and Blue is the bouncer/bodyguard. Lola is a deeply troubled young woman trying to get by the best way she knows how, all while trying to support her former foster mother, Mrs. Owens, who has dementia and kidney failure. The interactions between Lola and her foster mom are bittersweet but heartwarming. Lola's world is turned upside down when Blue comes back into her life. He is always watching and waiting for a chance to get back at Lola for what she did to him. The love scenes were brutal and tender all at the same time. The chemistry between Lola and Blue is explosive and it cannot be denied. But, it is more than just sex between these two, they forged a bond in childhood that survived crushing heartache and ultimate betrayal. This is a story of redemption, forgiveness, and a deep, all-consuming love. This is my favorite so far from Mrs. Warren, she has a knack for writing characters who are broken but strong. Characters that go to hell and back and never give up. I'm very much looking forward to the next book in this exciting, heart-wrenching, and beautifully painful series. Even Better:| This story picks up a few months after Blue and Hannah (aka Lola) move in together. Hannah is still plagued with insecurity and doubt about her relationship with Blue. And she is feeling kind of lost, she misses stripping, but doesn't want to go back, she is in flux not knowing what to do with herself. A friend from Blue's military days comes to stay. Things start to heat up, and Hannah finds a kindred spirit in West, she feels his pain and vulnerability and it's like a thread that ties them together. But, not to worry Hannah and Blue are just fine. West actually helps Hannah realize that Blue is all she will ever need or want. Blue and Hannah are the kind of characters that stay with you. They are both so broken, but together they are whole. Their love is harsh, but so achingly beautiful it makes you want to weep. Skye Warren never disappoints, whether it's full length novel or a novella, her words pack a punch and leave you breathless. The extended look at her next book Pretty When You Cry has me bouncing off the walls with anticipation, I can't wait for Candy and Ivan's story! The Stripped Series is divine! If you haven't started reading it, what are you waiting for?
