Secrets... Crash landing... Stranded on a deserted island with a mysterious man. You know things are going to be good. Carter's an intriguing character and gets more interesting by the minute. He has a hidden side he keeps secret from everyone. I love this Morelli. I enjoyed very much Professor Carter. Holy hotness, Batman that scene had me drooling. Anyway the story started good, but it wasn't until Theo's introduction that took an interesting twist. I liked it a lot. Like A LOT. However, things moved too fast to give enough time for development between Carter, June and Theo. Honestly, I feel like Theo's character is going to end up being forgotten in the next book. I hope I'm completely wrong. That cliffhanger has me needing book 2.

Wow, I was not expecting Carter and June's story to take that big steamy twist, and let's just say my attention was held. From the beginning to end their story goes from slow burn to ott steamy. The cliffhanger was intense and I literally dropped my Kindle, so now I not so patiently wait for the next book to find out what happens next. Wow!

Force of Nature is the first book in the Deserted Island series and I'm very torn about how I feel with this book. After reading Crash which is the prequel to this series and one you definitely need to read before diving into this one, I was intrigued. It had me on the edge of my seat and so excited to read Force of Nature. Needless to say, this book just left me sad and confused because I really wanted to love this story but it just didn't happen for me.
