Ratings and reviews

Time travel stories are always eye-cathing and on the top of TBR list of everyone which is why I have chosen it. I wasn'the disappointed. On the contrary. I loved the witty dialogue and the banter. The plot is good and the characters are interesting and believable. The historical background is very life-alike. But for the rather too slow paced main events, it would have been a five stars reading. There is potential though, and all in all, the book worth reading and I recommend it.

I love historical novels especially Scotland. If time travel is part of it I'm hooked. This was a fun fast read. So short it couldn't develop characters as Diana Gabaldon does but it was fun and worth my time.

Great read. Enjoyable storyline, beware strong alpha males dwell within☺ female characters keep pace easily though. Loved the ending. Would live to read more about Carrick and Eleyne's storyline .
