About this eBook

This short Manual of the Altar Sodalitium is a guide for those who wish to know at least a little about the liturgy of the Church of England. In it are pointed out the main elements that make up the altar fellowship, as the title says. It is not, of course, a treatise on liturgy, nor does it exhaust all the possibilities of using these sacred elements used by the Church of England.
The glossary also gives the reader a good idea of the main terms so that people can become familiar with the names consecrated by the tradition. Much of what Anglicans use is shared with other Christian traditions. The Handbook also shows one way of being Anglican through the prayers provided.
It is up to the reader to choose how they learn about the forms of worshipping the Lord that suits them best. Happy reading!
