The implementation of smart village in Indonesia is expected to be able to transform village into self-sustainable village so that able to become driving motor for national development. As stated by Bung Hatta that: “Indonesia will not shine because of the big torch in Jakarta but Indonesia will only shine because of the candles in the village”. Therefore, the development of Smart Villages is an alternative solution to build an Onward Indonesia.
