The book starts strong and numerous POVs are brought up to give a large scale arena breakdown of the finale. However the last fight and pages are literally author burnout in writing. The ending felt like the last minute end of term project paper where you slam energy drinks to finish and get the word count in while making vague notations and observations about plot and characters. The ending itself was rushed, put together in separate pieces to feel justified but honestly gives no justice to character favorites. Possible side stories have been teased in brainstorming which may put some light on much needed clarity.

All of the novels have been well done to the point that I believe it is underpriced. There is almost no recall to previous books allowing the author to fill in new detail. The fight scenes are written in a fantastic way such that you can easily follow them. the translation leave little to be thought about. Not once did I have to be confused about an odd word or translation. The end feels good. It is not tacked on nor is it over drawn. It just ends leaving you wanted more but satisfied. Like have a well made dinner with thoughtfully made portions.

The epilogue is way to short and doesn't show the demon lords meeting with Arial. It kinda feels cheap to read the whole series and have a buildup to a final battle and have it just end there. If anything, the old hero recap volume should've been made into the epilogue. Also, I liked how the other reincarnations lives were shown throughout the story. However, having the epic final battle be those reincarnations and others fighting a being so powerful to instantly kill a "normal" god doesn't have any real stakes. Also, Also, White's side really doesn't care about the sacrifices, so why are they so quick to put down their lives to do so? Overall, I enjoyed the series minus a recap volume and the ending battle.
