It’s such a big deal that Güli-güli, the pontiff, and even Potimas are teaming up with the Demon Lord. Wait, when did they all get so chummy? And I’m sorry, what? They want ME to take out the main weapon?! No waaay!

I'm only 112 pages in, but so far it's the worst one of this series so far. The reason I feel that way is because the growth of the main character seems to have taken the back seat in this book as well as the main conflict seemed to have just been created just so this book would exist. By that I mean it feels like a side story to me and not really part of the main story, if you cut it out so far I wouldn't feel like I missed anything. Imagine you were reading a series that was progressing at a decent pace but one book spent it's time talking about a cyclops all the the characters had to team up to take out, but the cyclops had nothing to do with the main conflict and the characters working together were in conflict before but all their plans are put on pause while they deal with this foe. It just feel like something that can and should be cut, hopefully I'm wrong and the main conflict of the series is expanded on in the second half but right now I'm having a hard time caring.

fantastic story. written very well. the only critique I offer is near the end alot of her internal dialogue was the same sentence written in different ways with a few new sentences in between. kinda dragged a bit. but overall, 9/10 love this series!

Very action packed, so much so that it almost felt too short! The other novels seemed longer but this one is still pretty good, we got to see some more fleshing out on a few things and have an idea of what direction it'll go from here
