Since 2005 he has received numerous accolades and recognition for his Essence bestselling novel Ride or Die Chick and award-winning novel Down in the Dirty. Boston George was born and raised in Harlem. He started his writing career while incarcerated on a three-year prison sentence, during which he wrote three novels, including Knee Deep in the Game. George currently resides with his family in New York City. He has a daughter named Yasira.
