Evil is spinning a silent intricate web of mystery and spirits that will haunt you until slowly all the pieces start falling together that solve the puzzle. Sophie Barnes has written a haunting Gothic Romance that takes you on a rollercoaster ride of heights of passion swirling down into a vortex of darkness in this story that is filled with remarkable characters that come off the pages and will pull you into their tale, a strong plot that is well written, with great dialogue. Icy fingers curled around her body as Angelica felt the frigid air leave her lips but as she looked around no one was there. And so her visit to Colchester Hall begins while answering an invitation from the Lord Randolph Sterling, is looking to re-marry. As the suspense builds and tensions escalate with the twist and turns abound that makes this one outstanding story!

An awesome paranormal. All is not what it seems in this spooky tale. It is not a long read but it was an awesome story. Angelica is not what Randolph expected but still, the attraction is there. Dreams of a horrible nature will plague her and will the feeling of being watched. This is a great book to read for Halloween gang. Will the mystery ever be solved? The action in this book is right up to the very end and it is so well done. It kept this reader glued to her seat I must say. High praise for this work by such a talented author I hope you check it out. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
