I love how Lane can tug at my heart while also creating a hot and sassy story that keeps my attention. Lane takes readers back to the world of the Kings in an unforgettable and larger than life manner. The way that she melds chance and circumstance with everyday life to create a whole that can easily be remembered. It was also one that I found myself getting lost in. I enjoyed getting to know the characters as I reconnected with one another. The gradual discovery of different aspects of their personalities and their history was a whole lot of fun. It made for some very realistic (and absolutely loveable) characters. This was a fantastic addition to Lane’s Kings Series & a great read on its own. I’d recommend it to western romance lovers worldwide. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

I really loved this story! It's the second in the Texas Kings series but easily read standalone. Great story, great characters, and very well written. Hope Walker and Chase King were inseparable in college but kept things strictly platonic, until graduation. When Hope disappears after that passionate night Chase is left reeling but nothing compares to how he feels when he shows up in Texas on his family ranch. Coming face to face with Chase King after all these years is the last thing Hope ever expected to have to deal with. If the last few years have taught her anything though it's that she can deal with just about anything. Seeing him as little as possible is key. There are some things in her life she needs to keep secret! I definitely recommend this one!

The one that got away has reappeared. Chase and Hope are kindred spirits. Old school friends with a history that is both memorable and heartbreaking. One night and a long with held secret are all that stands in the way of this reunited pair. When old feelings resurface, will these two long lost friends be able to become life long soul mates? Or will hurt pride permanent break their bond? Hope's motives for her past actions were a little circumspect to me. I get that she was young, scared and uncertain but a guy that is that crazy in love deserved the truth. For two people so close they didn't seem to know each other very well. I received an ARC of Cowboy Take Me Away by Soraya Lane in exchange for an honest review. Growth and more life experience played a hand in reuniting these two. What I am liking most about Ms. Lane's Texas Kings series is that the story is not overshadowed by overly sexy dialogue and too hot to read scenarios. They are a perfect blend of charm, emotion and attraction. Am enjoying.
