90s "I am so dark, I am so tortured" cheese. Quite possibly the trendsetter for such comics that followed, mostly published by Image and imitated by others. Writing is juvenile and art is unremarkable. Has no discernable story or character a reader would care for, especially for a first issue.

This book is kinda good , but doesn't give a full experience of an good ebook or a comic but it does really have a different approach. And the news told in the story is too much to read in one page.....

Spawn is so much a different version of The Batman, The Flash, Spider-Man, and Deadpool. Difference apart Spawn is with a whole lot of darkness especially on the hell side which I wouldn't go too far. I'm filled with darkness and happiness that I still manage to control on day and night most all the time I'm someone else the next side of me
