Speaking for professional development book aims to equip students with competence in understanding English speaking in a professional (non-academic) context and foster cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity. It also supports the development (professionalism) of students (or graduates) and the skills of educators. The materials consist of Personal Achievement, Writing A Good CV, Starting Business, Deal with Customer Complaint, Participating in Meeting, Job Interview, Business English, What Makes A Good Teacher Great?, Create A Work Culture, Public Relation, and Building Relationship. This book provides listening, identifying, studying, pronouncing, and practicing activities. In addition, it allows educators to give assignments to students individually and in groups to assist students improve their speaking skill.

Perihal pengarang

Rahmatullah Syaripuddin, S.Pd., M.Pd., was born on October 12th, 1995, in Ujung Pandang, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. He got a bachelor’s degree at Muhammadiyah University of Parepare. He obtained a master’s degree from Muhammadiyah University of Parepare. His research interests are English Language Teaching, ICT in ELT, and Curriculum & Material Development. The author’s current activity is teaching English language at the undergraduate level at STAI DDI Pinrang, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. In 2019, the author was accepted as a presenter at the 54th RELC International Conference and the 5th Asia-Pacific LSP and Professional Communication Association Conference.
