James Lowder is an award-winning author and editor of fantasy and horror novels, genre short fiction, and comic book scripts. He has written several best-selling dark fantasy books, including the Forgotten Realms adventure Prince of Lies and the Ravenloft novel Knight of the Black Rose. He is the winner of multiple Origins Awards, and his short fiction has appeared in such anthologies as Shadows Over Baker Street and Genius Loci.
