About this ebook

German is the language spoken in Germany and some other countries, such as Austria and Switzerland. German grammar loosely resembles English grammar in some aspects, and differs in others. The way some of the German verbs are formed is similar to English. Nouns in German grammar have gender and many are capitalized. Each noun can be masculine, feminine, neutral or plural. There are nine basic pronouns that are used in German grammar. A pronoun is a word that is used in place of a noun. Verbs in German grammar are conjugated according to person, and use one of four different suffixes to form the present tense version.
